Hello everyone,
I have regularly been a part of the K8DV team in Clermont county but now I
live in Costa Rica. I hope to have some fun in the OhQP again this year as
TI8/AA8HH.
So, if you hear that strange call that doesn't seem to make any sense
(TI8/AA8HH), that's me!
Please make a mental note that there are some DX stations that will be
active and that their calls don't fit into the regularly expected call
signs!
Looking forward to the party!
Steve - TI8/AA8HH

Subject: [OhQP-mail] Ohio QSO Party 2015 1st announcement
The Ohio QSO party is coming up in one month almost to the day. Reserve
August 22, 2015 to work all 88 counties in Ohio. Please consider joining us
for a great time meeting friends on the air and having some late summer fun!
When: Saturday,August 22, 2015 1200 to 2400 EDT (1600-0400 UTC)
Bands: 80-10 SSB and CW
Changes this year: the exchange now is RST and county for Ohio stations (no
more serial number) and
RST and state/province/DX for out of state/country areas.
Here is a link to the website where you can find rules, results and planned
activity in each county. http://www.ohqp.org/
As we get closer to Aug 22 the counties should fill up, especially with
mobile operations.
Please share this announcement with anyone you think might be interested in
participating.
Dan W8CAR
CWOPS #1220
OHQP Activity Whip
PS: more announcements, postings, begging and pleading will follow!
