This Week's Contests:

1. QRP Fox Hunt. Thursday night local, 0100-0230Z Friday. Two QRP
Foxes will be QRV between 3550 and 3570 kHz. Work the two foxes. Run no
more than 5W. Do not spot the foxes' frequencies. Exchange: RST, SPC,
Name, Power. Foxes are: N9NE, TODD, WI and NC4RT, RANDY, NC.

2. NCCC RTTY Sprint Practice. 0145-0215Z Friday (Thursday local date).
  20, 40, 80, 160M RTTY. 100W maximum power. One kHz QSY rule.
Exchange: both calls, #, name, SPC. Look around 080 kHz and up from
1805 kHz.

3. NCCC NS CW Sprint Practice. 0230-0259Z Friday (Thursday local
date). 20, 40, 80, 160M CW. 100W maximum power. One kHz QSY rule.
Exchange: both calls, #, name, SPC. Look around 040 kHz and up from
1815 kHz.

4. CQ WPX SSB Contest. 160-10M SSB. 48 hours of weekend UTC. (8 PM
EDT Friday to 8 PM EDT Sunday). Exchange: RS + serial #. There is a
club aggregate score competition. Look for me, KU8E, and WW4LL to be
operating as PJ4Z from Bonaire. QSL all four calls via K4BAI. This is
one of the big ones and is also a lot of fun. Multipliers are prefixes,
of course, and they count only once for the entire contests. DX QSOs
count more points on 40, 80, and 160 than on the high bands. There will
be a CW contest the last weekend in May with the same rules.

5. FOC QSO Party. 24 hours of Saturday UTC. 160-VHF CW. Exchange:
RST + FOC # if you have one. This is a fun contest whether or not you
have an FOC number. Non members should work only FOC members and there
will be a lot of them QRV. Look around 025 kHz on each band.

6. QRP Fox Hunt. Tuesday night local. Same rules as #1 above except
the frequency range is 7030-7050 kHz and the scheduled foxes are different.

7. CWOps Club CWT Mini Tests. Every Wednesday. Three different
one-hour mini tests. 1300Z, 1900Z, 0300Z (Thursday UTC date). 160-10M
CW. Exchange: Name + CWOps# or SPC. Look around 028-038 kHz.

Hope everyone has a nice week and weekend. I should arrive on Bonaire
only a few hours before CQ WPX SSB, so I will be QRV as PJ4/K4BAI only
after the contest. Most non-contest activity by me will be on CW
probably. Good luck and much fun to all.

73, John, K4BAI.
