Comments:

Great to hear the band in good condx. Lots of stations and I started finding
mults all the way up to 28.200 - like the good old days. I almost called a few
beacons :-)
Just casual operating here with a mix of run and S&P. Still shaking out a
few remaining bugs in a completely new SO2R and keying setup. Ran SO 1.5V for a
while - the FTdx5000 ergonomics are a big help with that.

I was not on enough to compare days and missed the EU opening on Sat AM.
Sunday the opening was good but did not last as long as I would have hoped.
Late afternoon and early evening condx were mostly very short burst meteor
pings - a real challenge. Another challenge was a lot of backscatter QSOs off
EU with lots of multi-path. The fact that I could run EU for a while is a
testament to condx - the 10M antenna here is really poor.

TNX for all the Qs and happy holidays as the contest season draws to a close.

73, N4GG

FTdx5000, ACOM 2000A, Full wave loop up 20 ft in a tree, rats-nest of SO2R and
keying gear.
