1.  Adventure Radio Society Spartan Sprint.  0100-0300Z Tuesday, Oct. 7 
(Monday night local date).  160-10M CW.  5W maximum power.  Exchange: 
RST, SPC, Power.

2.  CWops Club CWT Mini Tests.  Three different one-hour mini tests 
every Wednesday.  1300Z, 1900Z, 0300Z (Thursday local date).  160-10M 
CW.  Exchange:  Name + CWOps# or SPC.  Look around 028-038 kHz on each 
band plus 1815 kHz.

3.  10-10 International Club 10-10 Day Sprint.  24 hours of Friday, 
October 10 UTC.  10M any mode.  Exchange:  Name + 10-10# + SPC.  If you 
don't have a 10-10#, send "0" instead.  10M has been very good lately 
and this could be a fun contest this year.

4.  NCCC RTTY Sprint Practice.  0145-0215Z Friday (Thursday night local 
date).  20, 40, 80M RTTY.  100W maximum power.  One kHz QSY rule. 
Exchange:  both calls, #, name, SPC.  Look around 080 kHz on each band.

5.  NCCC NS CW Sprint Practice.  0230-0259Z Friday (Thursday night local 
date).  20, 40, 80, 160M CW.  100W maximum power.  One kHz QSY rule. 
Exchange:  both calls, #, name, SPC.  Look around 040 kHz on each band.

6.  Makrothen RTTY Contest.  0000-0759Z  Sat;  1600-2359Z Sat; 
0800-1559Z Sun.  80-10M RTTY.  Exchange:  4 character grid square.

7.  Oceania DX Contest, CW.  0800Z Sat to 0800Z Sun.  160-10M CW. 
Exchnage:  RST + Serial #.

8.  Scandinavian Activity Contest, SSB.  1200Z Sat to 1200Z Sunday. 
Exchange:  RS + Serial #.  Work only Scandinavian stations.

9.  QRPARCI Fall QSO Party.  1200Z Sat to 2400Z Sun.  24 hours maximum 
operating time.  160-10M CW.  Exchange:  RST + SPC + QRPARCI# or power. 
  Usually there is a lot of QRP activity in this contest.

10.  Arizona QSO Party.  1600Z Sat to 0600Z Sun; 1400-2359Z Sun.  160-2M 
CW, Phone, Digital.  Exchange:  # + AZ + AZ county or # + SPC.

11.  EU Autumn Sprint, CW.  1600-1900Z Sat.  80, 40, 20M CW.  2 kHz QSY 
rule.  Exchange:  both calls, #, Name.  Work only Europeans.  Activity 
usually is high on 20M at the beginning and drops off as the European 
stations move to 40 and 80M, which are not open to Europe from here 
during the contest hours.

12.  Pennsylvania QSO Party.  1600Z Sat to 0500Z Sun;  1300-2200Z Sun. 
160-2M CW, Phone, PSK, RTTY.  Exchange:  # + county or ARRL/RAC section 
or DX country.  This is uaually a very popular contest and there is 
often a surprising amount of activity even on 160M.

13.  FISTS Fall Sprint.  1700-2100Z Sat.  80-10M CW.  100W maximum 
power.  Exchange:  RST + SPC + Name + FISTS# or power.

14.  PODXS 070 Club 160M Great Pumpkin Sprint.  Local time:  2000 Sat to 
0200 Sun.  160M PSK31.  Maximum power 100W.  Exchange:  RST + SPC.

15.  NCJ North American Sprint RTTY.  0000-0400Z Sun (Sat night local). 
  20, 40, 80M RTTY.  QSY rule.  Exchange:  both calls, #, name, SPC. 
There is a team competition for two to ten team members.  If anyone 
wants to be on a SECC team or to get up a team under the SECC banner, 
that would be great. Send me an e-mail.

16.  UBA (Belgium) ON CW Contest.  0600-0900Z Sun.  80M CW.  Exchange: 
RST + serial # (+ ON Section).  Work only Belgian stations.

17.  North American QRP CW Club SK/Bug Sprint.  0030-0230Z Wed (Tues 
night local date).  20, 40, 80M CW.  5W maximum power.  Exchange:  RST + 
SPC + NAQCC# or power.  Multiply score x 2 for hand key and by 1 1/2 for 
bug.  Look for NAQCC anniversary special event stations signing N?A 
calls.  N1A to N0A.  K4BAI will be QRV as N4A in this one.

Sorry to cut off the score reporting and send this out so early this 
week, but I will be out of town Tuesday morning until Saturday evening 
this week.  I will have e-mail with me.  If there are a substantial 
number of late scores reported for a contest, I'll repeat the scores 
with the additional scores next week.

Hope everyone has a nice week and weekend and a lot of QSOs.  I plan to 
be QRV part-time in some of the weekend's operating events after I
