This Week's Contests:

1. CWOps Club Mini Tests. 1900Z is being run now. 0300Z Wednesday
night local date, Thursday UTC date. One hour. 160-10M CW. Exchange:
Name + CWOps # or SPC. Look around 1815 kHz and 028 kHz on each band.
Good practice for CWOpen on Saturday, but the exchange is different.

2. QRP Fox Hunt. Thursday night local, 0100-0230Z Friday. 14050-14070
kHz. Two QRP Foxes will be QRV, NK6A Don in CA and K4Fb, Paul in FL.
Paul may be too close for many of us, but let's give it a try. Don
should be easy from here. Exchange: RST, SPC, Name, Power. maximum
power 5W. Work only the two foxes.

3. NCCC RTTY Sprint Practice. 0130-0159Z Friday, Thursday night local.
  15, 20, 40, 80M RTTY. 100W maximum power. One kHz QSY rule.
Exchange: both calls, #, name, SPC. Look around 080 kHz.

4. NCCC NS Ladder Series. 0230-0259Z Friday, Thursday night local.
15, 20, 40, 80M CW. 100W maximum power. One kHz QSY rule. Exchange:
both calls, #, name, SPC. Look around 040 kHz.

5. CWOps Club CW Open. Saturday UTC date. Starts Friday night local.
  0000-0359Z Sat; 1200-1559Z Sat; 2000-2359Z Sat. 160-10M CW.
Exchange: # + name. 2 to 10 men teams. SECC now has a team of seven
and we could use three more. Current team is: K4BAI, KU8E, W4UX, W4IX,
WN4AFP, K6RB, N3JT. Any more volunteers?

6. Colorado QSO Party. 12Z Sat to 04Z Sun. 160-UHF CW, Ph, Dig.
Exchange: Name and County or SPC. If you are in the CWOpen, CO stations
may also want your SPC and you may want a # from them.

7. Tennessee QSO Party. 1800Z Sat to 0300Z Sun. 160-UHF CW, Ph, Dig.
Exchange: RST + SPC or TN county. There is a club competition in
this one so be sure to put down your preferred club. There is no
requirement of being in any geographical area or "circle." SECC has won
this category (no actual award at this time) in the past despite being
so close to TN that bands above 40M are difficult.

8. Michigan QRP Club Labor Day Sprint. 2300 Mon to 0300Z Tuesday.
160-6M CW. Exchange: RST + SPC + MiQRP# or power.

9. Adventure Radio Society Spartan Sprint. 0100-0300Z Tuesday (Monday
night local). 80-10M CW. Maximum power 5W. Exchange: RST + SPC + power.

Hope everyone has a good week and weekend and a lot of QSOs. Good luck
and safe travels to our contest friends in TN and CO. 73, John, K4BAI.
