Starting to remember why I enjoy contesting so much. Couldn't go FT - between
taking care of the house while the rest of the of the family was out of town,
as well as packing to head back to college on Wednesday, there were other
priorities this weekend.
Started on 20 right at 18:00Z and spent about an hour S&Ping as well as some
unproductive CQing. Took a break then went back down about 23:00Z - things
sounded good. Decided to set the DVR to record the typical Saturday night
television programs so I could spend a few hours running on 40 and 80. Glad I
did - that made for a fun evening. Blew a relay on the 160 antenna earlier this
week and couldn't get the antenna fixed in time - oh well, I still had fun.
