This is very sad news. Dan was a true gentleman. I remember when I was first
licensed and chatting wit him on the repeaters during drive time. He always
had some good advice and direction for a "rookie".
Also, he did consulting work in our building at Cox Enterprises in the early
2000s and we would get together for lunch in the company cafeteria occasionally
- quite refreshing to discuss DX, antennas, etc. versus the regular business
chatter. He will be missed.
