Comments:
I received a certificate for the 2011 RU: "First Place Multi Operator, Low
Power, Georgia Section", so I felt obligated to defend my title. I had multiple
conflicts, not the least of which was my wife's birthday. I was able to get in
10 hours of the 30, so we'll see if that was enough.
The bands were good and I surprised myself with how well I did on 80M. I should
have done better on 10, but my schedule and band openings didn't coincide like I
wish they had. I'm looking forward to the NAQP RTTY in a few weeks. my average
QSOs per hour number of 22 is respectable for my station and skill level I
think, and I'll be trying to raise it over the year as I focus on improving my
skills. My friend WB5TUF averaged about 33 over 24 hours and P49X averaged
about 35 per VFO, so if I can get to the high 20's, I'll be quite proud.
Thanks to all for the QSOs,
Scott, KB4KBS
