One last reminder. NAQP SSB is today. 1800Z (2 PM EDT) until 0600Z (2
AM EDT). Single ops limited to 10 of the 12 hours. Exchange is Name
and State, Province, or North American Country Abbreviation (Prefix).
For stations outside NA, the exchange is simply "Name," but if your
logging software, like mine, wants something in the section slot, try
"DX." Multipliers count per band. So, ask stations who call you to QSY
to other bands where you need their multiplier. I like to start on the
highest open band and move down. I think it is a good idea to check 10M
on the hour and 15M on the half hour while running on 20M during the
day. That way, you won't miss an opening that lasts 30 minutes or more.

Hope the thunderstorms stay away from your QTH, but the first rule is to
be safe.

WW4LL will be M/2 with myself, WW4LL, KU8E, and NA4BW operating. We can
nearly always tell you the frequency we are running on another band.
(The exception would be if the other station is doing S&P on another
band and hasn't selected a QSY frequency.) M/2 stations have a
"10-minute rule," so we will not be able to QSY to another band for a
quick QSO without being stuck on that and for 10 minutes. We may want
to do so, but we probably wouldn't want to interrupt a good run for a
QSY to an otherwise dead band. Anyway, let's all work each other on as
many bands as possible.

Even if you are not on a team (we have two complete teams with W4DD
perhaps being on an ACG team as his plans allowed him to be QRV at the
last minute), get on as much as you can and have fun and add to the fun
of others. Also, it will be good practice for other contests to come
this fall.

73, John, K4BAI.
