Comments:

Well the band was definitely loaded top to bottom. Really difficult to get
established with 100 watts and small simple antennas. I just kept getting
clobbered by the high powered guys who couldnt or didnt want to hear me. Had
fun the first night but, working dx was real tuff. Condx were terrible to the
south of me, could hardly hear the caribbean guys, and only the strongest of
the AF and EU guys were worked, usually with many repeats. D4C was in the whole
weekend but he just cq's in my face. Thanks to everyone who worked me. Missed
VO2, VY2, VE5, VY1 & VE8....DX worked:
CN2,CT3,P33,CR2,EA,EI,HA,OM,UA2,C6,HI,HR,KP2,KP4,V2,V3,V4,XE, & ZF.....had to
leave for a job in Penn. on Sunday morning, after calling cq for over 1/2 hour
with no replies and not being heard by some very loud europeans, I pulled the
plug at 0310Z....73's John
