NQ4I may have dodged the bullet, but at least one of us at the opposite
end of the antenna spectrum didn't. I had a tree fall in the back yard
last night, and it took my piddling excuse for an antenna with it. It
pulled the ladderline and the PVC pipe I had lining the antenna exit
hole (the shack is on the second floor) right out of the wall.
Otherwise, no real damage. So much for NAQP SSB this weekend. I guess
this means after the snow goes away, I get to put up something more like
a normal wire antenna, with one less tree in the way.
