be afraid to sign up for a team just because you don't expect to be able
to be QRV full time. Let the team organizer know how much you expect to
be active and what power level you will be using and he will put you on
a team of likewise committed ops.

1. CWOps CWT Sprint 0300-0359Z Thursday (Wednesday night local). 80,
40, 20 CW. Exchange: Name + CWOps # or State. Look for activity
around 028 kHz on each band.
2. NCCC Thursday Night Practices. SNS slow speed. 0200-0225+Z Friday.
Keep speed to 18 WPM first ten minutes and no more than 28 WPM
thereafter. One kHz QSY rule. 100W maximum power. 20, 40, 80M CW.
Exchange: both calls, #, name, SPC.
NS Ladder. 0230-0259Z. No speed limit. Rules the same as SNS except
add 160M band. For each look around 3540, 7040, 14040 (and 1815 for NS).
3. Worked All Europe DX Contest, CW. 48 hours of weekend UTC. 36
hours maximum for single ops with no more than three off periods.
80-10M CW. Work only European stations. Exchange: RST + QSO #. There
is a QTC feature. You can send back to each Eu stations not more than
10 QTCs. A QTC consists of the time, call, and QSO # received of a
previous QSO. You can send each QTC only once.
4. Keyman's Club of Japan Contest. 12Z Sat to 12Z Sun. 160-6M CW.
Exchange: RST + Continent Code (NA) or JA Prefecture/District Code.
5. MDC QSO Party. 16Z Sat to 04Z Sun; 16-24Z Sun. 160-2M + 432 mHz
CW/Digital, Phone. Exchange: SPC or MDC County + Entry Class. Classes
are: STD(Standard), MOBile, CLUB, QRP.
6. ARRL Rookie Round Up. 18Z - 2359Z Sun. 80-6M SSB. Exchange: Name
= 2 digit year first licensed = SPC or XE area or "DX." I believe this
was orginally announced as a Digital contest, but it has been changed to
SSB.
7. Flying Pigs QRP Club August Run for the Bacon. 0100-0300Z Mon
(Sunday night local). 160-10M CW. 5W maximum power. Exchange: RST +
SPC + FP# or power.
8. 20M QRP Fox Hunt. Tuesday night. 0100-0230Z. 14050 to 14070 CW.
5W maximum power. Exchange: RST, SPC, Name, Power. Work only the two
Foxes.
