Just received clearance from my surgeon , after a recent heart-releated
procedure, to operate on the radio again. Had planned on KYQP for several
weeks, but just received the good news Wednesday. Will be using K4Y. Hope we
can
help you with some rare counties. See you guys this weekend. Good luck!
Jeff and Becky.
Operating in the 2009 Kentucky QSO Party. We want to activate the rare
counties in the Southeast portion of the State. We plan on putting on 28
counties (listed below), but with the curvy, mountainous roads, we most likely
will
not be able to make them all. We humbly ask, since we will being running on
a tight schedule, that when calling, string out your calls so we can
contact many of you guys as possible.
Will be CW only, concentrating on 40 and 20 meters, but will have a free
rig on the 80 meter calling frequency (3.550 MHz) all day. Put out a call on
80 during the day and hopefully we can work you there too. Will also check 15
meters for activity. Any requests or comments, contact me off-line at ny4n
at aol dot com.
The following counties will be attempted in the order of which they are
listed. QSL via NY4N. Becky and I look forward to adding you guys to our log.
