I just got back from a visit to the Clemson club station trying to get
the rotor (Hy-Gain Tailtwister) going - no luck. At the very least,
the rotor is getting power because I was able to hear the clicking of
the brake releasing, but it isn't actually rotating. So I'm currently
stuck beaming just about due North.. I was hoping to be able to (in
the very short range) beam TN for the TN QP Sunday but looks like I'm
out of luck for that.
The controller itself seems to be fine and I wired and unwired the
terminals at least five times with the wiring diagram left behind from
when the station was active, so it seems there is some real work do be
done...
