I also participated in the Michigan QRP Club Sprint on Memorial Day
evening. This one had good participation for a change and I had a lot
of fun. I forgot to write bring the score today, but seem to recall it
was about 71 QSOs in 3.7 hours or so.

This week's contests:

1. SNS Sprint Slow Speed Practice. 0200-0215Z Friday (Thursday night
local). 80 and 40M CW. 22 WPM tops. 100W max. Exchange: both calls,
#, name, SPC. Dupes OK after one intervening QSO or band change. 1 kHz
QSY rule.

2. NCCC NS Sprint Practice. 0230-0259Z Friday (Thursday night local).
  20, 40, 80M CW. 100W maximum. Exchange: both calls, #, name, SPC.
No dupes on same band. 1 kHz QSY rule. Note: No dupes this week again.

3. CQ WPX CW Contest. 48 hours of Sat and Sun UTC. Single ops: 36
hour maximum with minimum off times of one hour. Exchange: RST +
serial #. 160-10M CW. Look for Robin, K5VU, as an operator of LX7I.
This one is a lot of fun. Work everybody for points and multipliers. I
will be in the high power tribander-single element class.

4. Kids Round-Up. 14Z Sat to 20Z Sun. 80-432 Phone. Exchange: SPC +
class + name.

5. QRP ARCI Hoot Owl Sprint. 8-12PM local time Sunday. That's right:
the time varies depending on your local time. 160-10M CW. Exchange:
RST + SPC + ARCI # or power.

6. Adventure Radio Society June Spartan QRP Sprint. Monday night
local, 0100-0300Z Tuesday. 80-10M CW, 5W maximum. Exchange: RST + SPC
+ power.

Hope everyone has a good week and weekend and a lot of QSOs. Hope the
guys at W8JI find less damage than anticipated and can get the repairs
done without too much difficulty.

73, John, K4BAI.
