Comments:
FT1000MP, Alpha 78, 600 to 1000W, 160M: t vertical; 75M inverted vee; 40M dipole
and zepp; 20M: zepp; 15 and 10M: 40M dipole. Couldn't get the 88' center fed
zepp to tune on 15 and 10M for some reason. Couldn't run much more than 600W
on 20M without the antenna tuner flashing over. Again, I really missed my
beam. All contacts were S&P because I was too weak to run. Great to finally
get a good opening to South America, Central America and the Caribean on 10M
beginning around 22Z on Sunday. Bands otherwise seemed pretty good, but low
bands were noisy on Saturday night. A few Western Europeans worked on 15M and
JA3YBK on 80. No luck calling JAs on 40M. Thanks for all the QSOs. Please
look for us at NQ4I multi multi in CQ WPX SSB the last full weekend in the
month. 73, John, K4BAI.
