This week's contests:

The big one this week, of course, is ARRL DX SSB. I think K4UEE and a
group from the SEDXC will be at PJ2T multi op. My host owner on
Bonaire, Noah, K2NG, is there as PJ4G. Hope everyone will be able to
put in a lot of time and have a lot of fun this weekend.

1. NCCC Practices Thursday night. Slow Speed: SNS. 0200-0215Z Fri.
80 & 40 M CW. 100 W max power; 22 WPM max speed. Exchange: both
calls, #, name, SPC. QSY rules. Dupes OK after band change or
intervening QSO. Unlimited speed: 0230-0259Z Fri. Same rules
otherwise except bands this week will be 160, 80, 40 and 20.

2. QRP Fox Hunt 40M. Thursday night local, 0200-0330Z Friday. Two
foxes will be between 7030 and 7050. Maximum power: 5W. Exchange:
RST, SPC, name, power. Work only the two foxes.

3. ARRL International DX Contest, SSB. 00Z Sat to 24Z Sun. 160-10M
SSB. Exchange: RS + state or province or power for DX. Club
competition for high aggregate score.

4.  Open Ukraine RTTY Championship.  2200-2359Z Sat (low bands);
0000Z-0159Z Sun (low bands); 0800-1159Z Sun (high bands). 160-10M RTTY.
Note: Those of you who have wanted a RTTY contest to include 160M,
this is your chance! Exchange: 2 ltr region abbreviation (your state
here in the US) + serial #. Start the serial #s over on the high band
segment. QSOs once per band and per period. Work everyone, I think.

5. Straight Key Century Club Weekend Sprint (SKS). 24 hours of Sunday
UTC. 160-6M CW. Exchange: "Real" RST + SPC + Name + SKCC# or "none."
Rule change puts 40M back to just one band, but still suggests listening
on 7055 and 7114 plus or minus.

6. QRP Fox Hunt on 80M. 3550-3570. Otherwise, same rules as for 40M
QRP Fox Hunt shown above.

Remember that tonight, K4BAI and NR5A (in ND) are the two 80M foxes for
this week.

Hope everyone has a good week and weekend and a lot of QSOs. 73, John,
K4BAI.
