It's always fun to get on the radio, but for whatever reason I really,
really enjoyed this event.
I missed the first 45 minutes or so at the very beginning, but once I
did get on I made my first 100 Q's in nearly record time. Things slowed
down greatly after that point, but that's another story. My original
goal was 300 Q's, but once I had as many points as I got last year with
nearly 300 Q's with only 130, I decided to shoot for 50k points instead.
I did this and still was able to get almost a regular night's sleep and
get a moderate amount of work done around the house, so this is a
win-win all around this time.
I heard K1ZZI chugging along with a booming signal on 40M each time I
heard him.
