The conditions should be interesting. There was a major X6 solar flare on December 5th. The sunspot that cause this flare - 930 - is still visable toward the earth. The predictions are for more X class flares to come from this sunspot. Sometimes after a major flare the conditions become enhanced. Should be interesting. I will SO HP CW only. I am putting up a sterba curtain pointed SE/NE for the contest. Should be interesting to see how it works. Jeff KU8E |
