Actually, with a little extra work, it can become a lot easier than
using one antenna. I recently completed work on a VB6 project which
will counteract the phase differential between a load and presumably
50 ohm coax.
If an antenna switch could be wired in such a manner that there are
1 "hot" input, but that input is tied to 2 more separate inputs, you
can have a pretty close to 1:1 SWR wherever you choose.
All that is required is to switch in a certain length of coax or
other feed line to switch the same antenna to another portion of the
band.
Actually, same thing goes for all bands.
