I for one, really enjoyed the RTTY contest. I operated entirely S&P and
did not hear ANY activity above 7100. Only BC stns and some SSB. I
sorted my log by frequency and broke it down by lowest and highest freq
QSO as follows:
on 40
Lowest freq highest freq
7030(LU7HN) 7079(W9XT)
on 20
lowest freq. highest freq
14061(SV3DCX) 14140(EE7CQ)
Most of my QSO's took place between these frequencies. I did not use use
frequencies above 7100 because there simply were no stations there!
About an hour after the contest I tuned the 40 meter CW band from 7000
to 7100 an counted four (4) QSO's. It was even worse on 80 with only 2
QSO's from 3500 to 3600.
