Comments:
This was my very first experience with SO2R (I am surprised at how tired it
made
me). I used the N1MM software and it was terrific. The only downside to
the
contest was that a thunderstorm with severe cloud-to-ground lightening moved
through the area at 0330Z. Given that my station was destroyed by
lightening
back in May, I immediately pulled the plug and waited for it to pass (took
about 25 minutes). Unfortunately I had already used all my time off so I
had
to take that inactive period out of hide.
I could have made more Q's on 80 if the QRN hadn't been so bad. I had LOTS
of
"dry" CQ's.
All-in-all I had lots of fun...
73,
Rick K4TD
