Hello all:
Almost back on schedule here after the Brazil trip. Thanks for all the
support and QSOs. Still haven't unpacked all my gear, but have the SO1R
set up going strong.

K4HAL 151 70 10,570 4.5 SOLP
K4OD 38 23 874 6 SOLP
Several other members were reported active, but haven't submitted scores
yet. Apparently, activity was up in this even from past runnings. We
could have had a good team score if we had established a team.
2. CQ VHF Contest
K4XR 442 173 80,964 17 SOABHP
K4BAI 198 89 17,622 13:02 SOSB/6 LP
Many other members were QRV, but haven't submitted scores as yet.
Conditions on 6 meters were pretty good here and were excellent in other
parts of the country.
3. NCCC Thursday night NA Sprint Practice
K4BAI 55 30 1,650 0.5 SOLP SO1R
4. Colorado QRP Club, Colorado Gold Rush Contest
K4BAI 21 16 2,223 0:58 SOQRP
5. Flying Pigs QRP Sprint
K4BAI 30 21 1,722 2.0 SOQRP
Craig, K4XR, is in North Alabama, but is originally from Georgia and I
hope he will join SECC soon.
This weekend, there are no major contests scheduled--just a VK/ZL
contest on 160M CW. Don't forget the NCCC Thursday night Sprint, 0230
to 0300Z Friday, 160-20M CW, 100 watts maximum, exchange both calls, #,
Name, SPC. And tonight, Wednesday, there is the monthly NAQCC QRP
contest, 0030 - 0230 UTC Thursday, 80-20M, RST + SPC + NAQCC member # or
power output with score doubled for a hand key or multiplied by 1 1/2
for a bug.
I am sure you are all aware that the big Montenegro operation as a new
country begins tomorrow through August 13 under the callsign 4O3NT.
Good luck on many bands and modes.
73,
John, K4BAI.
