Hello everyone: Our air conditioning is broken at the office and it is
miserable here! Our server overheated, so our computer network is also
down. Hope things are better where you are!

Contests through the next weekend include:

1. Adventure Radio Society Spartan Sprint CW QRP contest. Tonight
0100-0300Z Tuesday UTC. Sent Call, RST, SPC, power output.

2. Michigan QRP Club July 4 Sprint: 2300Z Tuesday - 0300Z Wednesday.
CW. Exchange is RST, SPC, MiQRP # or power out.

3. IARU HF, 12Z Sat to 12Z Sun. CW and SSB. Exchange RS(T) and ITU
zone. Most of us are in zone 08. Look for PT5 and PW5 single suffix
calls from Brazil. Special awards program for those QSOs. K4BAI/KU8E
and VE7ZO/VE3EJ will be hiding behind some call. NF4A will be a
referee. N4PN will be down there too, I think. CW/SSB/Mixed, 160-10M.
The WRTC stations will not work 160M.

4. FISTS CW Club Summer Sprint. Sat 17-21Z. RST, SPC, Name, FISTS
member # or power out. (100 watt power limit.)

5. Six Club Contest. 18Z Sat to 21Z Sun. 6 meters, any mode. Exchange
4 character grid square.

6. QRP ARCI Summer Homebrew Sprint. 20-24Z Sun. 160-10M CW.
Exchange: RST, SPC, ARCI Member # or power output.

Hope everyone has a great week and makes a lot of QSOs, especially with
PT5 and PW5 stations.

P.S. Before the contest, you may find WRTC stations checking out their
rigs and QTHs signing PP5/homecalls. I know they will appreciate
reports. I worked PP5/RV1AW on 20 CW this morning about 12Z. Of
course, he will not have been at a WRTC station site as those will only
be drawn for on Friday before the contest on Saturday/Sunday.

73,

John, K4BAI.
