Hello all:
Jeff, KU8E and I leave for WRTC 2006 in Brazil on Tuesday. This time,
there will be a live scoreboard available to anyone on the internet
during the contest. A demo version is now up and you can view it now.
During the contest, I assume there will be periodic updates by the
referees at each station.
Of course, you will be able to see the competitors by their home
callsigns, not by the callsigns they are using during the contest, which
will be kept secret. The idea here is so that people "back home" or
friends anywhere won't work only their local entrant or their friend to
the exclusion of the other competitors. So, the best way to help me and
Jeff would be to point your antenna toward Brazil during IARU HF and
work every station you hear with a PT5 or PW5 single letter suffix call.
We will be one of those 47 calls.
