Yesterday when I posted the info on the large solar flare, both 20m
and 40m were completely dead, leading to my assumption that we had a
complete radio blackout. However since signals, especially on 40m
picked up as soon as the sun was going down and the fact that I just
worked JT1CO on 7.007 a few minutes ago, my assumption was partially
incorrect. This URL below has a more reasonable explanation of how
the flare is expected to affect us.
