Robin,

There is a setting in the writelog.ini file called somthing like "Autosave".
I have it set for every 10 QSO's.

I would suggest you check out www.k9jy.com for lots of good stuff about
writelog.

i used writelog for the first time this past weekend at the W4MYA M/M, and
was pretty impressed. i didn't like that i had to actually 'save' the log
every now and then -- and i have no idea about the issues jeff is bringing
up -- but there were some features (like the needed multiplier window) that
was really handy. plus, the CT/MM commands translated pretty seamlessly.

however, for now, i'm sticking with 'MM. the price is right and it does a
heck of a lot. but i can see moving to writelog in the future.

see you all on 160 this coming weekend!

73 / robin / k4vu
on the farm in VA

(btw, the final score at W4MYA was something on the order of 8 mil, but i'm
still waiting for a final total from bob).

If Writelog is such a great program was is everyone trying to figure out how
to do this and that all the time ???? When I used it at WW4LL for the CW
Sprint it didn't even create the Cabrillo file correctly. That seems to be
something basic that should work all the time. I am sticking with NA until
they work out all the bugs with these Windows based programs....
