Hi Jeff and thanks for the info,

Yep, I have looked at the 80m dipole with EZNEC an all of the bands.
I left it up for SS primarily because the of the 40m and 80m
pattern. At my QTH in Virginia I used one as a sloper, coming down a
60foot hill, sloping to the NE/NW, that had 110 foot tall maple
trees on top of the hill. 15m into JA was especially awsome. The one
here is basically flat but I really didn't expect the good
performance I'm getting with it.

My second antenna is going to be a two-element double-extended-zepp.
EZNEC says it gives a 33 degree beamwidth (gotta point it VERY
carefully!) with 14.5 dBi gain, if it's at 60' height.

'Course pumping 1500 watts into open wire feeders, doesn't hurt
either!!
