My first SARTG RTTY. Used the middle period to play in NAQP SSB.

WAC: NA SA OC

DXCC: HI K LU VE VK ZL ZP

Best DX (distances per WriteLog beam heading)
-------

1. 221141z VK4UC, Australia, 20m, 9094 mi (1819 mi/watt)
2. 221246z ZL2AMI, New Zealand, 20m, 8177 mi (1635 mi/watt)

Considering the poor band condx over the weekend, I was very surprised
when VK4UC and ZL2AMI copied my QRP calls.

Nice to work Paraguay/ZP5DBC on 20m, a country I seldom hear on the air.

It was interesting to observe IonoProbe (http://www.DXAtlas.com/) report
Radio Blackouts and/or Geomagnetic Storms in almost real-time. The bands
would get very quiet almost immediately when blackouts were reported.

Yaesu FT-897 transceiver operated at 5 watts into a 5-MHz OCF 28-gauge
insulated wire stealth antenna up 40 feet in heavy foliage trees next to
I-75 in downtown Atlanta industrial area (S9 noise level with 500-Hz IF
filter). SGC SG-237 Smartuner. Tigertronics SignaLink SL-1 sound card
radio interface. WriteLog 10.48f with RTTYrite.
