Ed:
Are you using the term "reformed Yankee" as a negative implication? Even
though I spent half my life in Columbus, OH, I would be considered a true
son of the South; having been born below the Mason-Dixon Line in
Washington, DC.
We stopped to reflect last Sunday when traveling through Lancaster, OH as
we passed the sign commemorating the birthplace of a former president of
LSU...William Tecumseh Sherman.
The South gave us peanuts and the Yankees gave us air conditioning.
