Fellow Contesters,
The inaugural Mid-Atlantic QSO Party will be this next weekend from
1600 Z Saturday the 8th until 2400 Z on the 9th.
This contest has been completely organized since October, and all done
via e-mail and the Internet. There will be lots of awards and plaques
given for this event. We are hoping for a great turn out.
There is an excellent article in the latest World Radio written by one
of the instigators of this event. Good reading!
Although this is Mother's Day weekend, there are plenty of hours to
operate
and have lots of fun. There are just scads of multipliers as well.
For all you county hunters, there will be mobiles prowling all through
the Mid-Atlantic states.
The rules may be found directly at http://www.qsl.net/maqso/rules.htm .
You can also visit the website at http://www.qsl.net/maqso/
While at the web site, you can subscribe to the party reflector.
We hope to see many of you there this weekend!
Good luck!
