Guys, I just moved my DSL service to Bellsouth, and for the life of
me, I cannot get my Linksys router to work with it. Are any of you
using the same but have it working?
Do any of you know of a router which is compatible with the BellSouth
Westell modem?
Finally, failing to get a router going, can I just buy and install
another Westell in the hamshack? Assume only one modem would be
powered up at any time.
With Earthlink ( who dropped my connection on a regular basis ), the
Linksys worked and I have a hard wired Cat5 cable from the office here
to the hamshack. There is a web page which explains how to work the 2,
but its instructions are for XP only. None the less, I tried it, every
single step worked perfectly, but the Westell-Linksys still would not
work.
Downloaded the latest firmware for the Linksys, but get message saying
"unable to upgrade flash rom". Possible I already upgraded it, but
don't know how to check the firmware version.
Am going to put Paulding County on the air for the GQP. Where can I
find the CW abbreviation for Paulding?
