WA8REI/Michigan commented that N7VY/QRP/Arizona was a "solid S8." Well, at my
QTH in Atlanta, GA, N7VY was "pinning my needle" on 20M (15-Nov, 2348z). And
that was with the FT-817 configured with both IPO and ATT "on."
Had to be at the office to handle two "on-call emergencies" on Sunday.
80M was great with lots of activity, strong signals and hardly any QRN. The BCI
on 40M was less than normal and bearable. I checked 10M frequently but there
wasn't much activity even though the band appeared to be somewhat opened.
Yaesu FT-817 QRP xcvr. 5 watts into a 5-MHz OCF 28-ga insulated wire stealth
antenna up 40 feet in trees next to I-75 in downtown Atlanta industrial area.
SGC SG-237 autotuner. Heil Pro-Set Plus! WriteLog 10.43f, no CAT interface -
yet.
