Comments:
Managed to get in almost a full-time effort despite babysitting duties this
weekend. I am amazed on how good 20 meters plays from SW Georgia - using only a
dipole @ 30 feet. It was almost an endless pit of stations to work. Maybe some
day I will get a chance to put up some 'real' antennas from home and be
somewhat competitive again despite the time limitations I have now a days with
family obligations and helping raise two small little boys ...
Missed KL7, NWT and VO1. Heard KL7 and VO1 calling other stations on the 2nd
radio but never had one catch up to me.
Station #1 TS830S and 20 meter dipole to NW @ 30 ft
Station #2 TS850S and 88 foot zepp @ 40ft
Until next time ... 73 Jeff KU8E
