With that set of tests, it sounds like the signal is being generated in
the cable modem, passed through the Lan cable and then radiated from
the PC.  Do you have any cables from the PC to the radio, e.g. a cable
to the computer control jack on the radio?  If so, rather than being
radiated from the PC, it's being passed to the radio along that cable.

It doesn't sound like shielded Lan cable would help (though it is
available).  If you do have a computer control cable to the radio, I'd
look at choking it off there.
