Well, after 16.5 years with the same radio, I finally took the plunge and
ordered an Elecraft K2. Should be here this week.
I just got the basic unit for now, and when I get that assembled, I'll
start ordering options.
When I as first licensed in 1975, I always dreamed of building my own
radio -- and not just a regen receiver and a crystal-controlled
transmitter, but a fully modern rig. The K2 should, in part, fulfill that
dream.
Can't wait....
