K9AY 40M single band results...barely made my 400k commitment to =
K4AB...whew!

1033 - 35 - 110 =3D 412,960

Missed zones 22, 23, 26, 37, 40.=20

Hope conditions on the other bands were better than 40:

First night was not good enough to get any real rate to Europe, and no =
propagation over the pole to JA and the Far East. Fortunately, the =
skew/long path was good enough to partially make up for the problem. My =
best "burst" of rate was about 20 minutes to JA and Zones 17-18-19 =
beaming long path (SW) just before sunrise. More than 62% of QSOs were =
made in the second 24 hours.

The good news was that the station was really working. I am pretty =
happy with my score using just a "shorty forty" at 75 feet (although my =
four Beverages were the really important antennas).=20

Biggest double-take was having both 9M6A and 9M6NA active (I got them =
both).

Continent breakdown:
NA 141 (50 zero-pointers, both friends and lids)
SA 21
EU 678
AF 15
AS 147
OC 31

Countries with most QSOs:
JA 120
DL 110
OK 72

73, Gary
K9AY
