Gary/SECC,

Good idea. I hope Dan is coming. He always provides good
behind-the-scenes insight regarding some of the contesting rules, etc. We
have a canned contesting presentation but it is old and out of date. It's
from app. three years ago when AA4GA, W4WA and I put on a traveling dog and
pony show trying to get people interested in contesting and the SECC. So as
Gary suggests, and unless someone else has another idea, let's definitely
plan on having a SECC meeting, and if N1ND is there let's ask if he would
be willing to spend some time with us.

These slides (primarily of W4AN, W4WA, AA4GA and my station) are available
for anyone who might want to update the presentation for any of the
hamfests Gary mentions. I also have some audio tapes from contests that
could be used, FYI.

What is the date of the ARC Hamfest?

73,

- Jay, K4OGG
