I know it's nearly four weeks away, but the SECC should be
represented with at least one team in the August 5-6 NAQP CW!
It is way too hot this time of year to be working outdoors on
a Saturday afternoon, the contest period is only 12 hours and
you get to take two hours off for a late lunch or dinner with
the XYL and harmonics!
So, warm up the rig during the GQP in a couple weeks, then jump
into the wonderful summer world of high absorption and noise
during NAQP! If nothing else, use it as a shake down for your
station before the Fall contest season.
Let me know if (a) you will operate NAQP CW, and (b) the level
of your commitment. I will make up teams accordingly.
