The ARRL 10m Contest takes place from 0000 UTC on Saturday
13th December to 2359 UTC Sunday 14th December. There
are CW, SSB and Mixed-Mode sections - for HP, LP and QRP.
10m is in good shape, and may not be as good again for
several years. Don't miss it!

You should ignore any Windows and/or virus-checker warnings.
SD will not harm your computer.
W, VE & XE entrants - select the "ARRL 10m W/VE/XE" option
All others - select the "ARRL 10m, DX" option
W/VE/XE stations send state/province code. All others
send serials.
Work everyone - on 10m only. If you're mixed-mode,
remember that CW QSOs score double points. Give
priority to CW, but switch to SSB to keep your SSB
mult totals respectable. Mults areW/VE/XE states and
provinces, and DXCC countries - they count separately
by mode.
SD shows your QSO totals with individual calls as
you type the callsign. If no total is shown, then
you know you have not worked the station on the
"other" mode - and can safely ask for a QSO on that
mode.
Again, as you type DX prefixes (non-W, VE or XE) SD
displays the multiplier status for the country, on
both CW and SSB, below the prefix. When "CW or "SSB"
is highlighted, the country is needed a a mult on the
corresponding mode(s). You know instantly whether to
ask the station for a QSO on the "other" mode. If
you're operating single mode, just ignore this.
With rig control enabled, enter a frequency to set
the rig to that frequency - the mode will change if
appropriate. F10 (twice) returns you to your previous
frequency and mode.
After the contest, use SDCHECK to create your Cabrillo
.LOG file. Upload at contest-log-submission.arrl.org
