Never did get SDI to key my ICOM IC7200 while using a shared COM PORT for
control and CW.
Am using my WINKEY USB unit and all working fine now --- CW via WINKEY USB and
Freq/control from IC7200 USB .
IC7200 USB is converted to COM 8 for my setup and BPS1 = 4800 default. I have
tried to run higher speed but doesn't appear to work.
At 4800 there is a latency in the readout ....it lags the actual rig freq for a
sec or so .

OK Finally woke up and figured out how to edit the ICOM rig control file.
I opened the IC7700 file and changed the rig address to 118 to match the IC7200.
Saved the file as IC7200.SD.
I now have freq readout using SDI but no CW keying using the internal SDI
keyer.
I am sharing PORT COM 3 for rig control and CW . The IC7200 has a single USB
cable to the PC.
As an aside I used the IC7200 last night with DM780+HRD to work some PSK31.
The audio to from the rig and PC runs over the single USB cable as well...no
need for another interface.
Now back to trying to figure out how to make the CW keying work with SDI.
