The RSGB Commonwealth Contest takes place from 1000 UTC on
Saturday 14th March to 0959 UTC on Sunday 15th March. It
is a CW-only event for entrants in Commonwealth countries
only, on the five contest bands from 80 to 10m.

There are 12 and 24-hour classes in both Open and
Restricted (100w, single-element antennas) sections.

Rules at http://www.vhfcc.org/hfcc/rules/2009/rberu.shtml

SDC supports SO entries. It runs on almost anything and
is free from www.ei5di.com. Note - you'll need SDC, as
SD does not support this contest.

Exchange 5NN + Serial. HQ stations add "HQ". UK entrants
must be RSGB members and may not work one another. When
you type a non-Commonwealth callsign or prefix, it changes
colour to red (once 3 or more characters are present).
This serves as a validity check if you're not familiar
with all the Commonwealth Call Areas. There are no
multipliers, but bonus points for the first three QSOs,
by band, with each Call Area.

When you work HQ stations, the "HQ" should be entered
in the same field as the serial. For example, SDC logs
21HQ as 021 HQ in their respective fields.

After the contest, use SDCHECK to prepare your Cabrillo
.LOG file, and send it to commonwealth.contest@rsgbhfcc.org

73,
Paul EI5DI - Sponsor of the Team Contest - www.beru.org.uk/
