NEQP takes place, in two sessions, from 20:00 UTC Saturday
3rd May to 04:59 Sunday 4th May, and from 13:00 - 23:59 UTC
on the Sunday. There are single-mode (SSB, CW) and mixed-
mode categories, with HP, LP (150w) and QRP (5w) sections,
on the 5 contest bands from 80-10m.
Rules at http://www.neqp.org/rules.html
SD supports SO entries. V14.03 runs on Windows PCs and is
free from www.ei5di.com.
NE entrants: select the "New England QP, NE" template.
All others : select the "New England QP, DX" template.
New England stations work everyone. Others work New England
only - the states are CT, ME, MA, NH, RI & VT. DXCC countries
are multipliers for New England stations, so they'll be glad
to see you!
New England stations send 59(9) + their 5-character county
and state abbreviation. Other North Americans send 59(9)
+ state/province. All others send 59(9) + DX.
New England mobiles and rovers can be worked in different
counties, without being dupes. The simplest option is to
log them as /M or /R - but /NEWRI (for example) works also
(their county and state).
After the contest, use SDCHECK to create your Cabrillo .LOG
file. Email it, as an attached file, to logs@neqp.org
Please mention SD in your soapbox comments.
73,
Paul EI5DI
