In general, it's best to set the BPS (the link with your
rig) to the highest speed supported by the rig. I use
19200 with a Pro3. Don't forget to set the same speed
for your rig.
Then set POLLTIME and LINKTIME to the smallest values
that maintain reliable comms with the rig. The default
values are 1000 and 500 ms. I use 70 and 30.
This makes SD more responsive generally. Let me know
if this makes a difference.
