V11.33 13th July 2005
IOTA Contest - SDI:
Simplified Data entry - with Enter/Return after
every field (as always!).
Any Station Worked Already:
For island stations, SDI gives an automatic
band/mode multiplier analysis. For other
stations, SDI shows bands/modes worked and
wanted.
The QSO is logged from the Serial field.
If it's an island station, the previously
logged IOTA reference is auto-filled.
Any Station Not Already Worked:
If it could be an island station (with one or
more island references in SDIOTA.CTY for that
country or call area), the QSO is logged from
the IOTA Reference field.
SDI always inserts the continent (EU, NA etc.)
in the Reference field. There's no need to
delete or remove the continent for a non-island
station when no reference is received - just
hit Enter as usual.
If it can't possibly be an island station (no
island entries in SDIOTA.CTY), for example HB9,
the QSO is logged when you enter the Serial.
Band/Mode Multiplier Analysis updated:
The band/mode analysis is colour-coded as
follows (to bring SDI into line with SD).
Yellow : Wanted - will be a mult.
White : Wanted - not a mult.
Black : Worked already on that band/mode.
As a visual reference, your current band/mode
is indicated by two squares - with similar
colour coding.
To check the multiplier status of any island,
type its reference in the callsign field. Use
Esc to clear the field.
QDUMP Command:
Added to all programs, but intended for anyone
using SDI for a multi-op entry. QDUMP copies
your .ALL file to a diskette file of the same
name in drive A: - so that it may be loaded on
the multiplier station's PC.
Output files from the QDUMP, DUMP and FASTDUMP
commands now have "normal" file attributes - the
archive attribute is not set.
CALIBRATE Command:
No longer keys the rig (with the word PARIS).
SDCHECK - All Asia:
Requests your age, as sent, and writes this to
each QSO in your Cabrillo log.
SD Type 11 - RSGB CC and Low Power Field Day:
You can now specify 0 points for CW QSOs.
Fixed Claimed-Score in SDCHECK Cabrillo logs.
Low-Power Field Day. Fixed scoring for Type 11,
Option F.
Mixed-Mode Contests:
F9 display of QSOs by Call now displays only
those QSOs that match the mode in use. This
improves the listing when you enter a "dupe"
callsign. Previously it might have shown a QSO
(on another mode on the current band) that was
not a dupe.
