V10.25 23rd July 2004
IOTA Contest - SDICHECK.
When creating a Cabrillo log, SDICHECK did not
print the first 12 QSO records, although they
were included in the claimed score and in the
band/mode analysis. Fixed.
(You can download the updated SDICHECK.EXE, on
its own, from www.ei5di.com/sd/sdicheck.zip.
There's no need to do this before the IOTA
contest, as logging is not affected)
All programs - slow data entry.
Fixed. It was caused by some hardware/Windows
combinations not being happy with programs run
at higher priority than normal. Some require
it, and some reject it.
The PRIORITY command toggles between two
priority levels - the values are 0 or 1. If
you think the keyboard response is slow,
try PRIORITY to see what difference it makes.
If necessary, do it again to return to your
original setting.
Once you're happy with the setting, there's
nothing more to do. The priority parameter
is stored in SDCONFIG.TXT.
(Again, there's no need to download the
updated SDI.ZIP, or any of the other loggers,
unless you're unhappy with the data entry
response times.)
Rig Control:
Added DTR On to rig control ports - to help
with powering home-brew controllers. Power is
also available from RTS.

The programs may be downloaded from www.ei5di.com. Please
keep a copy of whatever version(s) you're using now - as
insurance! (Note. Do not use any Windows version of
SDI before 10.23)
The programs are all freeware. If you use them, please
sign-up to the sd-user mailing list at
http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/sd-user
This is the best way to get help from other users,
and to hear about updates and bug fixes.
