An SDR Play using HDSDR or another free program even without an antenna
attached will show you what your signal is doing. You can even take the audio
signal from it and pipe it into a decoder program to decode yourself. :-)

SDR Play == Best $130 ham bucks I ever spent.

Subject: [RTTY] Old Radio

Following the thread on New Radios.

There are some shortcomings on old radios as well.

I have a Kenwood TS-570D that I am trying to get it working on FSK with little
success.

I can get MMTTY to key PTT and FSK but I have no idea if I am just sending a
single tone or if it is actually diddling.  Why?

This radio is not capable of monitoring my FSK signal.

The monitor function only works in SSB.

No,  I am not using AFSK LSB with audio tones.

Guess I will have to get my TS-480sat back online. It can monitor all modes.
