Greetings Diddlers!

We had a lively group last week, and a first: Ross, ZL1N was in the mix! I’m
pretty sure that’s the first activity we’ve had from “down under”. Welcome
Ross!

This upcoming weekend is the DRCG RTTY test, so some full blown RTTY activity
should be available (Mr. Sun cooperating). There is also a new DominoEX mode
contest sponsored by the Russian Digital Radio Club, so if you hear something
unusual that’s likely what it is. The biggie is likely the ARRL June VHF test
for you high band types. And a few smaller cw/ssb activities just to keep you
busy.

If you’d like a little regular RTTY Sprint practice before the weekend please
join us on Thursday evening.  15 is picking up but still marginal for RTTY, and
160 is only usable for you EDT/CDT residents.

Here’s the usual list of times, rules and extra notes for our usual Thursday
soiree:

Friday, 10 June 2016, 0145Z - 0215Z (Thursday 9 June 2016 in NA)
-- 1845 - 1915 PDT
-- 2145 - 2215 EDT
-- (others in-between those two)
-- 160: 1805 and up
-- 80/40/20/15 +80kHz up from the band edge (Don’t forget to check 15!)
-- Same band dupes ok after 1 intervening Q.
-- 1 kHz QSY rule, otherwise standard Sprint rules
-- Mults per band.
-- 100W power limit.

Please visit http://www.ncccsprint.com/rttyns.html for complete rules
and links to other info. If you find any problems with the web pages, please
let me know so we can get them fixed.

Report scores to 3830scores.com, and join us at 0300Z on 3610 kHz
for comments and questions (and dinner menus).

Diddle diddle,

Ken K6MR
