What they mean is correct "area", since call areas are mults.  The FCC no 
longer gives a fig about call area designations, but the BARTG contest sponsors 
do.  Personally I find the FCC's position ludicrous.  It is so much easier to 
work Canadians as you know where they are by their call area designations!
