I never click on links in email, but if there's an explanation of what the link
is, I might transcribe it into a browser (although perhaps a dumb text-only
browser if I'm skeptical).

Since I didn't ask for it and you didn't notify me personally in advance, I
would not click on the link.
Back in the '90s when I was young and ignorant I clicked on a link and got a
virus. It's never happened since.
